On Frog Pond
This task is about adding words to a  text so it makes sense -  This will also show comprehension and understanding of text.

Read the text and put in the correct word.
It's early morning on frog pond. As the sun rises, light sparkles on the water (1).    All sorts of  pond animals are waking up. A (2) busy day is beginning. At the edge of the pond, a little green frog sits on a lily pad (4) in the water. He is hidden here among  a (5) floating plants. He keeps very still and very quiet (6). His big, bulging eyes are watching. He's watching a (7) dragonflies. He's watching for slugs and worms. He's looking (8) for flies. This little frog is hungry for files(9).  Someone else is hungry too. A dragonfly hums Up  (10) above the water. She is a fierce hunter, looking  (11) for insects. She hovers near a clump of trees (12). She can fly in
any direction, even backwards  and (13) sideways. Like the frog, she has very
big  Eyes (14). Suddenly she spots a fly crawling up a Rock (15). She swoops down

like an arrow and grabs the (16) fly with her powerful front legs. Gripping it teeth (17), she munches away at it with her sharp Teeth (18) parts.  The little frog has seen all this happen(19). He turns very slightly. He's ready to pounce, off (20) he keeps very still. He hopes that the winds (21) will take off towards him when she's finished eating (22). He hopes she won't notice him sitting still  the (23) green among the pondweed. Soon she flies  Off. (24)

My Experience with St Joseph's.
*******************************
Today St Pius and St Joseph's celebrated catholic school day all together in the church, after mass Mrs Tui got all the classes organized into their year level from years 1 to year 6 for St Joseph school. We had lot's of fun, meeting kids from different school and also I liked looking at the little one from St Joseph school.  We had shared lunch with St Joseph School after mass. After lunch St Joseph school all gathered outside the hall to line up to  get ready to show their ukulele skills by playing a song  written by Bruno Mars count on me.

It was a lovely, the whole school was amazing how the kids at St Pius and the kids from St Joseph school was playing with each other we never have another school come over before but we had fun with each other.

When Maxine and Sione To’a, Meleseini and I got the hall ready the schools are already lined up outside, I was thinking in my hard that the school looks full for the first time, i’m not saying that St Pius X school looks little.I was happy to see the little kids year ones were holding hands it was nice.

My Father is special to me, he is caring and loving Dad I know.
My Dad has three kids and a wife he loves his family very much,My Dad is holy, that's why I love my Dad because he is a great Man.

My Dad has short black straight hair and his tall, he has light brown eyes. His skin is kind of white and brown.

My Dad’s hobby is listening to music, but the most thing he loves to do is going out to the open sea to fish to earn money.  The money he earns, he use's it to pay his children’s school fees. The rest of the money, he use's it for other stuff that the family needs.

Multiplication and Division - Level 2

I am able to solve Multiplication and Division using it at level 2.

1.  A gardener planted 7 rows of cabbages.  Each row has 5 cabbages.  How many cabbages did plant altogether?
5 X 7 = 35
So 7 rows of 5 cabbages in side.
Altogether makes 35.
(Timetables.)

2.  I have 5 bags of lollies.  Each bag has 10 lollies.  How many lollies do I have in each bag?
So 10 lollies in 5 bags.
5 has 10 lollies
5 has 10 lollies
5 has 10 lollies
5 has 10 lollies
5 has 10 lollies
5 X 10 = 50
(Time Table)

3.   I have 24 pencils to put into 4 pencil cases.  How many pencils in each case?
24 Put it into 4 cases.
24 Put it into 4 cases.
24 Put it into 4 cases.
24 Put it into 4 cases.
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48,
52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96.

4x 24 = 96.
Counting in 4’s onwards.

4.  There are 30 apples to put into 3 boxes.  How many apples will be in each box?
3 boxes 30 apples inside
3 boxes 30 apples inside
3 boxes 30 apples inside
30 ÷ 3 = 10
30 + 30 + 30 = 90
10 x 3 = 30

Level 2 Fraction.

I am able to solve fraction using it at level 2 (Sometimes.)

Tipene has 16 play - station games.  He gives half of them to his brother. games.  How many games did he give to his brother?
Half of 16 is 8.
Because double of 8 is 16.

Jodie buys 24K-bars. She gives a quarter (1/4) to his brother.  How many did she give to her brother.
1/4 of 24 it means 24 is shared into 4 groups and 1 group is taken away.
6 x 4 = 24

Ihipera has 15 picture books. She gives a third (1/3) of them away to a friend.  How many picture books did she give away?
1/3 of 15 means 1/3 x 15 = 15/3 = 5 .
Because Half of 15 is 10 Half of 10 is 5
I Halved it 3
3 x 3 = 15 ÷ 3 = 5
5 books

Maths

I am learning to solve Addition and subtraction by using it at level 2.

ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION - LEVEL 2

1.
There are 21 people at a beach, and 13 more people arrive.
Show how to work out how many people are at the beach altogether

21 + 13 = ?
20 + 10 = 30
1 + 3 = 4

21 + 13 = 34
(Place Value)

2
Two classes go on camp together. One class has 47 students and the other has 38.
Show how to work out how many students go on camp

47 + 38 = ?
40 + 30 = 70
8 + 7 = 15

70 + 15 makes 85
47 + 38 = 85

(Place Value)

3.   A farmer has 63 cows.  He buys 39 more cows.
Show how to work out how many cows he has altogether.

63 + 39 = ?
60 + 30 = 90
9 + 3 = 12
90 + 12 makes 102
So 63 + 39 = 102
(Place Value)
